Gone with the Wind (Part2)


In September 1939  Selznick was asked by the press of his feelings about the film, he replied " At noon I think it's divine, at midnight I think it's lousy. Sometimes I think it's the greatest picture ever made. But if it's only a great picture, I'll still be satisfied."  The film turned out to be one of the greatest, hopefully Selznick was more than satisfied.
